Dug up some info on a company we have to worry about because they hold a superior lease on a property the client wants to lease.

Went down to street level to grab a Coke; came back, saw a message from the partner in charge of the client: please send everything you've found to these people at the client's office, CC me.

Okay. Simple enough.

Gather them up, gin up a covering note.

Click send.

Two minutes later, email from the partner: DO NOT SEND ANYTHING PLEASE

Wonder if my head's showing wood-grain indentations yet? Is five bangs against my desk enough for that?
