On the ground again
Jul. 26th, 2007 12:07 pmThere and back again ... which one is which again?
Flight actually took off on schedule and got in ahead of schedule (hundred-mile-an-hour tail winds didn't hurt). Flew in on a 767, which is actually not as bad as a 747 or an Airbus A340 (smaller than either of them, and only two engines, so the loud factor might not be as bad).
Hot as all get out in Athens. Though not as bad as it was just before I got in, apparently; we're talking 45 degrees C, well over a hundred degrees F. And fairly humid, too. I could see the thickness of the atmosphere on descent into Athens.
More later. Brain fried.
