Movie night

Saw a lot of people squeeing about a movie on the friends list, so I went out to the movie theater tonight after having a bite to eat.

Er, no, I didn't see Superman Returns. (Those of you who've seen it, correct me if I'm wrong, but I had the impression that Bryan Singer was trying to essentially make Superman III, only do it right this time, no?)

I put down ten bucks (price of living in the City) to see An Inconvenient Truth.

I'm going to be pimping this movie wherever I can, and I want my friends to do the same. I'm gonna do polls, I'm gonna clutter friends lists and friend-friends lists, that's how important I think it is. (I promise to stop as soon as I see the first slash fic-a-thon about An Inconvenient Truth, though. Then I'm going to start promoting AIT fanfic.)

On jobs and internships

So, I'm tending more towards taking the internship in Athens. My cousin-in-law has good connections in New York, and most of the work is being done in English - I know enough Greek to survive on the streets, but not to conduct legal business.

My brain is huddling in a corner going bibble-bibble-bibble at the concept, though...

Obligatory An Inconvenient Truth post

Saw a review today of the movie which stated:

a) The hurricane in the AIT movie poster was spinning in the wrong direction for the Northern Hemisphere.
b) Therefore, all the "pseudoscience" in the movie is suspect.

Excuse me; the steam coming out of my ears is fogging my monitor.
