Minor update

Resumes continue to go out, apparently into some sort of employment black hole. Have been getting advice from all directions that I should find a headhunter to assist with the job hunt; sound advice in the abstract, except that I must be looking in all the wrong places, since the only headhunter outfit I've been able to find told me in no uncertain terms that they wouldn't touch me because I was entry-level.
I've been told not to get discouraged, which is, y'know, kind of hard, given that there hasn't been the slightest sniff of an interview, let alone an actual job offer.
I suppose I can take a little solace in the fact that I haven't gotten down in the dumps so far that I spent an entire day cooped up in the apartment. But the cynical side of me wonders how long that's going to last, while at the same time giving a derisive laugh at the thought of calling that a positive sign.
