I absolutely hate it when someone gives you a job to do, then after you give them the job back - completed to the best of your ability - they berate you for not completing the job to their satisfaction, notwithstanding the covering e-mail in which you explained WHY the job couldn't be completed to their satisfaction.

(In this case: matter of a missing password without which a file could not be unlocked to finalize edits.)

Oh, and a certain someone constantly misinterpreting my facial expressions is not exactly the most pleasant of things either. There's a difference between "let me let this bit of instruction sink in for a minute" and "I have no frelling clue what you're talking about".

Grr.

So all of a sudden, instead of worrying about the administrative end of contracts and agreements, I'm worrying about the other half - the paralegal half. And all of a sudden, the slow knowledge I'd built up over what is and isn't my job is all scrambled again.

Just got yelled at because in addition to doing the new part of the job (the paralegal part, drafting documents), I sent the job forward to the person who requested the documents.

I'm not a telepath. I could tell you how one might be able to mimic telepathy through technology, with only two moderately far-fetched assumptions, but I can't read minds.

And I hope to all that's holy that nobody can read what's on my mind right now.
