Food and randomosity

Slow getting in motion this morning; alarm had difficulty registering, and by the time I woke up, it was five minutes past my on-the-road deadline. Got a decent night's sleep last night, but could use a couple or three hours more. Maybe this weekend.

Compounded this morning by the fact that the usual breakfast selections aren't there. Gotten in the habit of grabbing a bagel out of the refrigerated vending machine, then toasting it for breakfast; today, no bagels. No nothing, as a matter of fact. Cheese crackers took off a bit off the edge of hunger, but are really no substitute.

Long day today, long night tonight, short day tomorrow. Need to see about kicking my brother in the butt to carry his share of housekeeping duties.

I gotta mark down Tuesday, September 27th.

I knew that sometime in September, I was going to be interviewed by the New York State Bar's Committee on Character.

Wasn't sure if I had anything else to do in the meantime, though, so I called - largely to make sure that I wouldn't be getting any surprise paperwork during the two-week block in which I'll be out of the country.

Tuesday, September 27th, I'm scheduled to be interviewed.

And sworn in.

Fourteen days left in June ... thirty-one days in July ... thirty-one days in August ... then twenty-seven more...

I become a lawyer in one hundred and three days.
