May. 27th, 2005 03:03 pmBeen working all week - glad to get the three days off for the Memorial Day weekend, except for the down side that I'm not getting paid for the day off. Ah well.
Family moseyed off to southeastern Europe earlier in the week, and are urging me to follow suit as time permits.
Aside to that: just got off the phone with them. Well, that's not quite 100 percent accurate; they were talking to me on the phone, but I was talking to them through the Skype service. And I gotta say, I couldn't tell the difference between the Skype call and an actual telephone call, except that the cost of a fifteen-minute call from the US to Greece was something like thirty-five cents, European.
Not too bad at all. And a computer-to-computer call costs ... lessee, nothing times nothing, carry the nothing, don't forget to figure in the fifteen percent of nothing ... you get the idea. *g*
Am I being a total tool for shilling this service thingy?
