I may have mentioned before how much I hate it when people take pleasure in the misery and/or pain of others.
I know there's a lot of Cubs fans on my flist, and I know that no Yankee fan can match that kind of pain, still and all, no Cubs fan can know the feeling of seeing your team in freefall and knowing that there are millions of people who are hoping - and praying - that your misery only becomes worse.
It's a bit like someone clog-dancing on your skill with steel armored boots, and being told to sit back and enjoy it, as your pain is an occasion for Rapture and Overwhelming Joy.
And people wonder why I despair for the human race. With these feelings prevalent? Would you be optimistic?
