I know, a lot of people hate Michael Kay for being the Yankees' broadcaster ... but today, on his ESPN radio show, he tackled the Congressional hearings on steroids, with the subpoenas.
I can't do it justice - you have to hear it to believe it (they do a webcast on 1050espnradio.com, 4-7pm EST) - but he talks of the scary power of government, of George Orwell, and the only thing that could get through my head was holy mother of God this man gets it.
(He's talking Jets football as I type, but bet on him tackling the hearings issue in the future.)
Michael Kay is calling out Big Brother with the same passion he brings to Yankees play-by-play. And with that, he earns about thirteen kilotons of credibility with me.
Your mileage may vary.
