9:55pm Eastern. Three innings in. Yanks 6, Sox 6. Both starters gone.
Gonna be an ugly game.
10:36pm Eastern. Yankees are up by five, and the Red Sox just put in tomorrow's starter to stop the bleeding. Boston's got a lineup that can put up runs in a hurry, though, and the Yankees have a weak bullpen (with the exception of Tom "Flash" Gordon and Mariano Rivera)...
10:42pm. Tim Wakefield's knuckleball appears to ... well, not be knuckling. Games like this are painful no matter who you're rooting for. Am I right, friends list?
11:10pm. Three hours into the game and we haven't even hit the seventh-inning stretch yet. This is what Michael Kay would call an "unmanageable" game.
