There was a little discussion about corruption in politics (an unfortunately apropos topic these days).
One fellow said: "Appointing a totally unqualified person for homeland security director is pretty inexcusable."
My response: "Yeah. Patronage misuse and bribery are way up there--" --indicating a level right at my eyes-- "--but stealing elections? That's way up here--" --and I held my hand as high as I could.
Which happened to be higher than the ceiling. In other words, I put my hand right through the ceiling tiles to make my point.
But I think I did make my point.
