Quiet time, crazy time

This coming week, it'll be one or the other. I know this journal's been very quiet the past few weeks, but this coming week will either be dead time or crazy-making time. Convention week in a campaign office ... who knows?

(No, I won't be in Boston.)

Job hunt sputters along about like usual. Instead of a one-time law student with no prospects, I am now a bar-certified former law student with no prospects. Unless my luck changes. If it changes.

Attempts at writing seem to have hit a brick wall, too. Several fic ideas trying to get my attention, but concentration levels seem to have tanked. Have several beginnings, a couple of endings, and, as usual, the in-betweens are hash.

And I just forgot the name of one of my colleagues. I am just too lame for words. *sigh*
