Putting together cover letters to send out resumes, and I figured I might as well call in to the temp agencies. Went to grab cell phone: couldn't find.

Found my cell phone in the pocket of my jacket, where I had left the jacket in the upstairs home office before going downstairs to collapse for the night.

Called staffing agency. "No, I'm afraid I don't have anything - er, hold that thought, let me check something, can I put you on hold?"

Nerves start tingling.

"I've got a law office that needs a couple of administrative assistant temps. Would that work?"

Harmonic vibration starts in nerves.

"Can you send your resume?"

Sure!

"Older form of Word so we don't run into compatibility issues?"

Would a PDF work?

"I'll await your e-mail!"

Pull up resume file on the laptop, remember that the PDF maker program I had was only on the desktop machine, not Cortana. Go up to the desktop with flash drive, ready to convert, only to discover that after the latest system collapse, I hadn't bothered to re-install Microsoft Word on the desktop machine.

MS Word now installed, resume converted to PDF. E-mailing now in both formats.

Need some good luck. Need need need!

Eerie.

I saw the news about Robert Pastorelli's passing. I was thinking: I know that his name popped up somewhere very recently.

Then it hit.

Pastorelli was in Eraser. I probably wouldn't be remembering that except that the movie was showing Friday night, and neonhummingbird and I were agreeing that Pastorelli gave that movie a little class that it wouldn't have had with just Ahnuld.

Unless I'm remembering the conversation wrong?

*sniff* Adds a bit of bittersweet tang to the trip to Philadelphia, I suppose...
