On telemarketers.

I'm dialing my cell phone to check in with one of the temp agencies, see if there have been any openings in the past week, when the house phone rings. I quickly hang up the cell to grab the main line, and hear this:

"Attention. This is an urgent alert for North Jersey residents between the ages of eighteen and forty-five who have crooked teeth..."

Dialing Star-Six-Nine gave me the information that the callback number was listed as "Private".

The phone spammers seem to have developed some sense of self-preservation. Just as well I don't have a gun.
