(no subject)

Aak. I get up in the morning to do chores, and I'm teetering on the edge of unconsciousness all day, conking out at odd intervals. I lie down for a minute and I'm unconscious for three hours.

So I do the smart thing. I go to bed early, before nine-thirty PM. And three hours later, I'm wide awake.

The universe is having entirely too much fun at my expense.

Question

Does anybody know where the expression "sucks hard vacuum" originated? I'm curious; I know I've used it, and seen others use it, but I can't for the life of me figure where it started.

I wanted to use it to describe a particularly bad fic I once ran across...
