I saw the name of "Dr. Lawrence Sirovich" and scratched my head for a moment - and then it hit me that it referred to Larry Sirovich, colleague of my father's for the last twenty years or more.
I think you've got to be registered to read the article, and have a Ph.D. in arcane mathematics to understand it. But it's interesting seeing the name of someone you know in the paper.
