Not expecting any word on the interview until Monday at the earliest, so the waiting game must continue. Nerve-racking. Hopeful, but nerve-racking.

Got totally lost in User-Friendly (thanks, Celli, for the link!), so didn't take the opportunity to catch X2 ... ah well. Refund check came from IRS, so I can afford to see the movie at least.

And is it evil of me to hope that the Lakers end up getting stuffed in the basketball playoffs?

Oh, yeah ... anybody know if there's a minimalist variant on the RealPlayer or something? I'm trying to avoid the RealOne doodad on general principles...

Turns out that they're saying on the radio that the Cubs hosting the Yankees next month is about the toughest ticket to get these days, tougher than the All-Star Game.
