Recently declassified: the atomic martini
Feb. 16th, 2003 12:30 amDeveloped at Los Alamos in the 1950's, the recipe for the world's driest martini.
Ingredients:
One bottle fine vermouth
One bottle gin
One hydrogen bomb
Martini glasses
Set up hydrogen bomb according to instructions. Place vermouth bottle on top of hydrogen bomb.
Stand at appropriate distance and measure gin into martini glasses.
Detonate hydrogen bomb according to instructions, thereby creating cloud of vermouth vapor. Waft martini glasses into the air to attract essence of vermouth.
