What will you do if they cancel the 2004 Presidential election?

Me, I plan to go down to the firehouse that serves as my district's polling place and insist on casting my ballot.

Ask [livejournal.com profile] selenak if she's got a spare bunk at her place in Munich, because this won't be the US anymore.

I think I'd pack up and head for Canada.

Well, I spent most of the Gulf War in the basement. At the moment that's seeming like a really good plan of action, so between now and November, I need to get me a basement. Just in case. ;-)

Seriously? I think it's going to depend on the circumstances, a lot, for me. There's a remote possibility I'd actually *agree* with the decision; stranger things have happened, in my life. If I don't agree with the decision, I'm sure there'll be some truly annoying ways to make myself heard. I tend to be better at coming up with them on the spot than planning for them in advance.

Is this some just some random question you came up with off the top of your head, or (in being tired, and preoccupied, and busy, and frustrated, and confused, and so on) did I miss something in the news.

Well, let's see. I'd get angry and frustrated and want to protest then lose my energy. So I'd probably just fume and vent here, unless I can find a way to move to another country and become a citizen there.

Delayed response time, but...

I thought I replied to this. Guess not.

Unless the circumstances were actually bad enough to justify that - and they'd have to be pretty bad - it would probably be the first time that I got the guts and my act together to join a protest march.

If that didn't work, I'd be asking [livejournal.com profile] marielogan if she knew of any programming jobs out in BC and start applying for a working visa.
