bktheirregularGot my car insurance bill in the mail today, and as half-expected, they're trying to bleed me pretty badly. I know NJ is supposed to have the worst car insurance rates in the nation, but it's getting a little ridiculous.
Luckily, one of my old first aid squad partners runs an insurance agency, so I was able to call in and combine making an appointment over insurance with catch-up over life and such.
Good news: He just became a father for the second time in January, and his life is looking pretty good.
Sorta good news: His cousin, another former first aid squad partner of mine, is getting married.
Not so good news: Cousin's wedding, originally scheduled for August, is being pushed up to the end of March. This is occasioned by the cousin's New Jersey National Guard supply/support batallion being called up for active duty.
You get one guess where the unit's being deployed.
