(Now if we could somehow get our office's IT guy to get to work on the firm-issued laptops which were infected in the first place, and have been for what I think was a freakin' YEAR...

Yeah. He was running that antivirus on the laptop he was using today ... the same laptop that threw a trojan onto the flash drive I handed him to transfer some documents. (Only caught because I was running Vista instead of XP, on my own laptop, with my own legitimate antivirus scheme.)

He'd just thrown his antivirus package onto another flash drive, to give to someone else who had an infected laptop. Gave me the drive to scan, and I found viruses left and right, including in the antivirus archive file...
