Through hoops

Plumber says that in order to track down the leak, he's got to get into a vacant apartment somewhere above mine. Problem is, the owner's absent, the building manager doesn't have keys, so they can't get in to find where the rain's coming in.

All I can do right now is hope it doesn't start raining buckets again.

Just got caught up on the trainwreck. Oh, damn.

The building manager doesn't have a key? Hell. Can they even contact the owner? Will they bother? You'd think said owner would want to know that their apartment's probably raining on the inside, at least...

What do they expect you to do, tie an umbrella to your bed when you sleep?

*hugs* See, if you weren't on the other side of the Atlantic, I'd offer you a dry room to sleep in. But the Baltimore-Athens commute would be hell.
