Plea for information

I saw lots of squeeing over one or the other of the Stargates that aired last night. Since it doesn't come to the Eastern Med until God alone knows when, could someone clue me in on what happened?

It wasn't really any plot element in particular, there was just a lot of good character moments, particularly for SGA. SGA just had a ton of great "how much the characters care about each other" moments. And Jack guest-starred on it, too. On SG-1, Baal showed up again, and there was some great Vala bits I really liked.
