At the end of the day

Busy times, actually. Moving into a new place tends to do that. Bookshelves up (still six boxes of books to unpack, so need a couple more bookshelves), computer all out and running (still tweaking the desk space, but it's coming together), bed's built, and I'm settling in fairly well. All kinds of good aspects of being in the city proper; heck, I don't even miss my car.

Today, for example, was a pretty good day. Walked a lot, all over the East Side, got things done, and now ready to sleep the sleep of the righteous. (I have an arrangement with the righteous: if they don't like that I'm sleeping their sleep, they can call me in the morning.) All's well, except that I dropped a hammer on my toe while getting ready to go to bed tonight.

Maybe I'm tired, but it seems to me there's something inherently funny in that last statement.

Close entry.

Dude. You should make that into an icon.

(Glad to hear everything's coming together.)
