So the Angels sent the Yankees home.

Hey, f-list - I know there's a lot of Cubs fans around - is it OK if for the next week or so, I root for the Chicago White Sox to turn the Los Angeles Angels of Wherever The Hell They Are This Week into mincemeat?

Or would that make me persona non grata on the North Side?

... no Red Sox in the World Series - well, sadly, it's not that unusual. No Yankees? It just ain't right. (And I'm a Red Sox fan.)

I'll be rooting for the White Sox just on principle (and because I spent a lot of time hoping the "Sox" would be in the Series this year... I just forgot to specify the color). I think the Cubbies would forgive you for same.

Congratulations on becoming a RLL (Real Live Lawyer). Go you.
Have to wonder why you're getting rid of a car you apparently just spent a lot of money getting into shape. Public tranportation in Jersey isn't that good and depending on relatives is a pain; or are you planning on moving over to New York?
Might be a good idea to check the 'Blue Book' value for an asking price. An ad in the Newark or Jersey City paper should be fairly inexpensive. If there's a local paper that would be a good choice also.
I'm officially sports neutral so I get to sympathise with both you and Chicago, No.

Long story short, the family's got one car too many at the moment, and my car drew the short straw on account of having the lowest gas mileage.

Ultimately, the plan is to move to NYC. I hope.
