Signs your temp job may not be all that temp

Got moved back to a desk where I spent one day several weeks ago, at the pharmaceutical company. Took me a little while to get things squared away, and a couple of reminders that I still don't know where the nooks and crannies are in this building.

But I did notice one thing when I came back to my cubicle.

Yeah, my cubicle ... as evidenced by the name plate the company installed.

I rate a name plate.

Huh.

Dude! Here's hoping a name plate leads to greater things! :)

Name plate?

Yikes. That's one of those scary grown-up things, isn't it?
Or a sign of security....

Definitely the latter. That rocks!!

Seeing as how a guy in my building went a year there as a permanent employee without a name plate (to the point that he posted a sign saying,
"One day, if I work hard enough, I too will get a really spiffy name plate."), I think this is a good sign. :) *hugs*
