End of the line?
Me: "Will you guys [at Fafnir Smaug Abraxas & Tiamat] be needing me for the rest of the week?"
Manager: "No, we won't, unfortunately."
Me: "'Sokay. You said you'd need me all next week, though, right?"
Manager: "Yeah, about that. Listen, Mr. Smaug said that we won't be needing you through to the end of the year. So this may be the end of your time with us. We may still try and hire you on full-time, but..."
But ... for now, I'm out on the bricks. Again.
