Did ya want extra crispy or original recipe?
Oy. Did the at-home essay stuff. Two essays, 45 minutes per. Then the third essay, 90 minutes.
What'd I learn?
- I need to read up on New York motion practice.
- I couldn't remember how the Statute of Limitations in New York relates to defamation.
- Writing wills is a draining process, especially under time pressures.
My brain is now officially off-line for the rest of the day. I looked in the mirror after putting down my pen and saw what looked like the Blue Screen of Death behind my eyes.
Lessee ... tomorrow, I gotta go into the City and turn in my hastily constructed last-will-and-testament essay for grading. Then ... well, maybe then I can just sleep all day.
'Cos my brain is deep-fried at this point. Two of those half-liter bottles of Coke during the writing helped with alertness and thirst, but left me with a seven-aspirin headache.
I am not writing any more today. Not if it requires me to think.
Close entry. (And open the windows to let out the cranial smoke.)
