I did not know until five minutes ago that there was actually a Fourth Avenue in Manhattan. I wanted to use it as sort of a mythical, mystical place that you couldn't normally get to ... but it turns out that down on the lower end of Manhattan, there's a short stretch that runs off center to the street grid, and it's labeled, clear as day, Fourth Avenue on the map.

Good thing I checked.
