A fandom meme
Breaking from studying New York Practice for the following, snurched from
suzvoy, who got it from
jordankilgour, who got it from somewhere or other.
How many fandoms do you belong to in any capacity; reading, writing, etc. what are they?
Four or five, depending on whether Buffy and Angel are one fandom or two, as far as writing goes: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Farscape, Stargate. Reading: rather more than that. I don't know what all is on the list.
How many of these have you published fics in?
See above. Oops.
How many fics have you published?
Eleven. One Stargate/Buffy crossover, two Buffy, two Angel, four Firefly, one Farscape, and one Dragnet, which doesn't count as one of my fandoms because I just needed a name that screamed "cop".
How many of these have been gen?
All but one, and that one could likely be counted as gen too, depending.
How many of these have been het?
One, maybe. "Hook, Line, Sinker" obliquely refers to het actions, but nothing explicit.
How many of these have been slash?
Lessee, nothing from nothing, carry the nothing...
How many fics are you currently working on?
Three, sort of. I've got one back-burnered because the muses clammed up on me, another I'm starting to outline when I can, and a third that is basically a devil-bunny outline that I'm pondering whether to give over to the
horsechicks, as an entertaining form of suicide.
How many beta readers do you have?
Hm. Three that I've used, with more that would probably be willing.
How many of them are candidates for beta sainthood?
Don't you have to be dead to be a saint? Well, if not, then two for certain.
How many archives are your fics on? (excluding ff.net)
Lessee. Firefly's Glow, Buffy Fanfic Archive ... I put one on Heliopolis, but it got eaten. My stuff's in the Sunnydale Slayers archive, too.
How many fandom-oriented lists do you belong to?
One.
How many years have you been reading fic? Writing it?
Reading for fifteen years, writing for publication for about two years.
How many more years are you likely to be reading and writing fic?
Reading as long as I have the time for it, writing for as long as the inspiration keeps up. Can't put a number on it.
