Not something good to wake up for
Two-forty-five am, I get woken up by a pop and a faint burned-plastic smell.
Yeah, looks like I chose the wrong socket to plug my air conditioner into, and I've got a half-melted surge protector and a scorched wall socket to show for it.
My neighborhood's great. My apartment, not so much.
Though I suppose I should count myself lucky that I didn't get a full-blown fire or electrocution out of it.
