Is it a rite of passage?
Conversation with the Senior Partner:
Me: "Oh, yeah, I was wondering: do you think it makes sense for me to get a Blackberry?" (note: most of the associates have them.)
Senior Partner: "Let's see if we've got a spare Blackberry, or if we need to buy you one." (picking up phone) "Do we have a spare Blackberry for Bruce?"
So, I'm guessing that according to the partner whose name is on the door, I qualify for Blackberry privileges. Which is gonna be ... a tiny bit strange.
