Day from hell
2:00pm: Come home with new video card to replace failing card.
2:30pm: New card causes computer to totally fail.
3:00pm: Begin re-installing Windows.
4:00pm: Find that I have to re-format my PC.
5:00pm: Get tangled in Firefly video controversy.
6:00pm: Begin to regret it.
Yada yada.
1:30am: Finish installing computer programs.
1:35am: Freshly re-instilled OS celebrates by self-destructing, undoing 10 hours of work. Simultaneously, cable modem drops offline.
1:55am: First attempt at composing entry on PDA is obliterated by pushing refresh touch button.
2:00am: Second attempt at composing entry on PDA is obliterated by pushing refresh touch button.
2:40am: Giving up lest attempts to break even lead to burning down the house or starting Third Gulf War.
In short. today was a total waste. No, worse than that. I would have been better off if I'd never gotten out of bed. Or if I'd never woken up in the first place.
