The Internet's supposed to make things easier.
So I get my mail, and in the mail, I find a form for renewing my car's registration. This being the 21st century, they provide a web site link with which to renew on line. Simple enough. Online forms are dead easy - right up until the moment when they ask me for some specific information about my car insurance.
Don't get me wrong; I've got insurance. It's just that they need a couple of numbers from my insurance identification card ... which is in my glove compartment ... in my car ... which I just took to the shop for a repair job that may take a week or more.
Oy.
