I just realized there's a perfect counter-argument to those who claim that people opposed to the war in Iraq would prefer that Saddam Hussein were still in power.

Let's say your appendix is giving you serious problems. Appendicitis, let's say.

There would be no argument that having your appendix removed would be a good idea.

Now, if your doctor comes into the operating table wielding a running chainsaw, and you object, does that mean you want to keep your time bomb of an appendix?

I'll leave this one open for debate.
