Zowie.
Another mark in favor of the programmers at Trillian.
The multi-purpose IM client got hit with a bug, and they came out with a fix. Inside six hours.
I can't recommend that program enough - takes up less space than AIM, no ad-ware, no intrusiveness, and it'll work across five different types of chat (AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, IRC), with as many identities as you can think of.
Two variants - Trillian "Pro" is $25, with lots of features I don't know about. The one I use is the free one, Trillian v0.74 - no charge. :)
